The World Heritage Sites are places of both cultural and natural wonders, and endowment that is shared by all mankind and the protection of which is the concern of the entire mankind. There are 32 World Heritage Properties in India out of which 25 are Cultural Properties and 7 are Natural Properties recognized by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) as on 2014. The culture of India is the way of living of the people of India. The Indian culture, often labelled as an mixture of several cultures, spans across the Indian subcontinent and has been influenced by a history that is several millennia old.
